I am a work at home mom with two amazing children and a wonderful husband. I got started in professional freelance writing a little over three years ago, drawing on my writing experience from college and my love of the written word. This is not the career I thought I would have when I was choosing courses in college and planning my future, but it is the one I have fallen in love with.
I believe that people can be as successful as they want to be, if they are willing to put in the hard work. I have worked as a farm hand, I’ve cleaned stables, I have worked in a deli and small grocery store. I was one of the top cooks and a hostess, at a local chain restaurant. My freelance writing career is the first job I’ve had that doesn’t require heavy lifting, but that doesn’t mean I put any less effort into my work. I’m always building on my current skills and knowledge; there is always something new to learn.My drive for success is what makes me a great writer; I am never willing to settle for a half-completed job. When I get hired to produce content, I give it my all.
I started writing a year after my first daughter was born, after enjoying a year as a stay-at-home mom. My goals for the future include a Masters degree in marketing and a published novel. When I am not working, I can be found at the nearest playground with my family, curled up in bed with a great book, or out in the kitchen, working on a new recipe.
